About

The Cambridge Biosecurity Hub (CBH) is a team of researchers investigating the risks associated with rapidly developing biotechnologies. We work on concrete research projects that aim to make progress on either technical or policy issues within biosecurity.

CBH runs multiple 7-week, part-time (5-10 hours a week), semi-remote projects to drive progress on pressing issues and to help individuals test their fit, grow their network, and upskill in biosecurity. Researchers work in small teams, led by a skilled project lead, to conduct impactful research culminating in one or more final deliverables.

Participants will be given access to a communal co-working space (Meridian Office) in the centre of Cambridge which can be used freely throughout the project. Remote applicants are welcome, however, preference will be given to applicants who can engage with the projects in person.
